In your opinion why do these†¦show more content†¦Through over a decade of very structured and strict religious parenting, I learned to be religious and to view things as such. Even though this upbringing was more of a blessing than a curse, I still had many deep seeded decisions to make on how I truly viewed life. Attending college really opened my eyes to that. Now that I have developed my own beliefs and outlooks on life, I have a stronger sense of self-being and know exactly who I am and where I would like to be. The socialization process has been a very interesting period of my life. I almost feel as though I lost and found my self in this process. There have been many influences in my political socialization process. Thinking in terms of basic social agents and transmitters, church and the bible has been the most influential part of my socialization. Even very influential artist like Bob Marley have built my very abstract view on politics. These influences have not only given me a positive outlook on life, but have also led me to believe that healing the world and ridding it of all problems is the most possible, impossible thing. As crazy as it sounds I believe peace can only exist in the absence of sin (vanity); being that we are all human I see this as an impossible method so a political system has to be put in place so humanity can coexist.
